Eventually as a designer it is very important that you mature as a designer, this usually involves finding who you are and what style you like, with my first final year project I have done just that. The project was a very interesting and much different one to what I have designed previously. The brief was to create a space where a story could be told, and I chose the bear pit which is situated in Sheffield's Botanical Gardens.

The storytelling side of the design could be very abstract and as my space was rather small and surrounded by dramatic terrain, I built walkways which would work with the landscape and play sounds of Charlie and the Chocolate factory (which is the classic story I chose to use) in an illusive way, furthermore I created these concrete ribbons with golden sweet wrappers as the aggregate to resemble the story further with the golden ticket being one of the main drives for what happens.
