ORGANICON

A very short but fun project that I ended my first year of studying Interior Design with was creating a co-working space/environment within a shipping container or multiple containers. I was asked to come up with a design that would contain a meeting area/working space/breakout zone and potentially toilets. The final piece was to be a model.
When I come up with my designs I like to have some kind of purpose behind it, so with Organicon I decided to relate my design to the water crisis in poorer countries, the idea was that a big percentage of renting the space would go to water charities. This then inspired my design to work with organic shapes and come up with a structure which would be connected as one and divide up the spaces efficiently. See the development work below to see where it began and where it ended.
